Who we are

VS Tech Builders is a software development studio based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. For personal data collected through vstechbuilders.com, we decide why and how it is used, which makes us the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. What we collect and why

• Enquiries. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to prepare a proposal. Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which our team uses to manage enquiries.
• WhatsApp, email and calls. If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, we receive what you send. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
• Website analytics. When analytics is switched on, Google Analytics records how pages are used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser — using cookies. We use these reports to improve the site, not to identify you.
• A local setting. Your browser's local storage keeps one small flag so the opening animation plays only on your first visit. It contains no personal data.
• Clients. When you become a client we also keep project communication, invoices and payment records. Data inside systems we build or support for you is processed on your instructions under our project agreement.

Consent

We process enquiry data because you give it to us to get a reply. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us; we will then stop using your data, except where the law requires us to keep a record (for example, tax and accounting records for invoices).

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run our tools — Google (Firebase and, when enabled, Analytics), our email provider and our web host — and with authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers process data on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and for as long as the law requires afterwards. In every other case you can ask us to delete your data and we will.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and, where they apply to you, Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 — you can ask us to:

• give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it, where we are not required by law to keep it;
• stop using it by withdrawing your consent;
• let someone you nominate exercise these rights for you.

Write to legal@vstechbuilders.com with your request. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Access to enquiries and client data is limited to our team and protected by sign-in. The website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us and will tell you without delay if a breach affects your data.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update this page and the date at the top.
